Applying starts a conversation. Co-founding is selective; support and terms are agreed for each project.
Ideas brought by our community. We explore them together; selected ideas may become projects built by Suvano World with community members. The concepts below are not announced Suvano projects.
An idea from our community: modern convenience, fulfilled by the shops you know.
This is an idea only. Suvano has not taken on this concept as a project. It is not a launched service, an active pilot or a commitment to build.
Bring the speed and convenience of modern quick-commerce apps together with the familiarity, trust and personal service of neighbourhood shops.
Ordering from a quick-commerce warehouse can offer a seamless digital experience and rapid delivery. Buying from the local shopkeeper you’ve known for years offers personal relationships, familiarity and local knowledge. This concept would combine those advantages.
Customers could discover products available at participating shops in their neighbourhood and place an order online.
Participating shops could become part of a digital commerce network, rather than relying exclusively on large centralised dark stores.
Delivery partners could collect products from the shops and bring them to customers. Estimates would reflect actual distance, stock availability and rider capacity, rather than a universal ten-minute promise.
The platform would identify the shop fulfilling an order, helping preserve the personal relationship missing from anonymous delivery experiences.
Shopkeepers could receive order-management tools, product catalogues, payment options and visibility among nearby customers.
Customers could have the convenience of a modern shopping app and a familiar local merchant, instead of choosing between the two.
Speed, online ordering, digital payments, live updates and convenience.
Familiar businesses, human relationships, local trust and community connection.
The differentiator wouldn’t simply be delivering groceries quickly. It would be making neighbourhood commerce digitally convenient without removing the neighbourhood from the experience.
One possibility would be modest delivery charges, merchant commissions or subscriptions for digital tools. These are options to explore, not an agreed pricing model.
Before investing, we would need to test:
A potential pilot could start in one limited neighbourhood, with a handful of participating shops and a small product catalogue, before investing in a large delivery network.
No pilot is currently announced. This is a suggested way to test the idea.
The first half promises modern convenience. The second half explains why someone might care beyond receiving products quickly.
Technology can strengthen neighbourhood relationships.
That’s the possibility behind this idea: use technology to support local connections as shopping becomes more convenient.
