DESIGNER. OBSERVER. ALWAYS A WORK IN PROGRESS.

Good to meet you.
I'm Ayaan.

I turn complicated everyday problems into thoughtful digital experiences. This is my work, my journey, and a little of what makes me tick.

01 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

Curiosity first.
Clarity, always.

I like asking why something feels harder than it should. Then I sketch, prototype, listen, and try again.

My practice brings together interface design, visual storytelling and research. I'm especially interested in tools that make the next step obvious, even when the problem underneath is messy.

01 / WAYFINDING

Next Stop

A concept for making a multi-step commute feel like one understandable journey.

Read the thinking ↗

The question: How might a first-time commuter understand transfers without a screen full of competing information?

My approach: Map the journey, surface one next action, and separate route planning from disruption notices. I explored low-fidelity flows before refining the visual hierarchy.

What I'd test next: Whether people can explain their next transfer using only the route summary. This is a fictional study; no user-test results are claimed.

The Reading Room

A warm identity and browsing experience for an imagined neighbourhood book-sharing space.

Read the thinking ↗

The question: Can a digital library feel as welcoming as a recommendation from a friend?

My approach: Build a typographic identity, organise books around moods, and sketch a simple borrowing journey. Reusable components keep the concept consistent.

What I learned: A strong visual system needs room for the books to have personalities of their own. This is a self-initiated fictional concept, not commissioned work.

03 / PRODUCT EXPLORATION

One Thing

A small task-planning concept built around a single achievable next step.

Read the thinking ↗

The question: What does a planning tool look like when completing something matters more than organising everything?

My approach: Explore a distraction-light daily view, clear completion feedback, and a short end-of-day reflection.

What I'd test next: Keyboard navigation and whether the empty state helps people get started. No released product or measured impact is implied.

03 / HOW I WORK

A little structure.
A lot of listening.

01

Understand

Listen to the people closest to the problem. Define what a useful outcome looks like.

02

Explore

Sketch several directions. Make the assumptions visible before making the screens beautiful.

03

Refine

Prototype the important moments, ask for feedback, and improve the details that matter.

04 / THE JOURNEY SO FAR

Still learning.
Always making.

06 / WHY IT'S ON MY WRIST

Wear your time.
Share your world.

A conversation starts. I turn over my watch. One scan brings you here.

I chose this for myself: a reminder of the person I'm becoming, and a way to carry my work into the rooms I walk into.

A portfolio can have a public link you share with recruiters, clients or new connections—in person, in your bio, or in a message. Visitors can read your projects and resume without needing to scan the watch.

Fictional portfolio example. Ask our team on WhatsApp about preparing your own page. Making a real profile public can allow discovery by hiring teams; search indexing, traffic and job opportunities are not guaranteed.

PUBLIC EXAMPLE

Your link.
Your introduction.

A public profile is viewable by anyone with the link and may be shared onward. Only publish resume details and work you want others to see. This fictional example is public and eligible for search indexing. Real customers would choose whether to publish their own portfolio publicly.
